Experienced Civil Engineer

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position open for an experienced civil engineer. This position could be based in our Santa Rosa, Ontario, or Sacramento, California offices.
Responsibilities include leading the design of aviation engineering projects; evaluating and analyzing existing projects; preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction; performing QA/QC tasks; serving as the project manager on aviation design projects; and mentoring project staff. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering;
at least eight years of relevant work experience; and
PE license in any state with ability to obtain California PE within six months of start date
The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: project management; leading design teams; design of aviation projects; coordinating and assisting with pricing, estimating and scoping; civilian or military airport projects.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
